Northeast After-Hours Telehealth NP
Medix is seeking a remote Telehealth Nurse Practitioner for a 9-month contract to provide after-hours virtual care and clinical guidance for senior living and skilled nursing populations. The position requires multi-state licensure and offers flexible scheduling around 24 to 36 hours per week.

Position Overview
- Role: Telehealth Nurse Practitioner (1099)
- Location: 100% Remote (Texas-based)
- Duration: ~9 months (1,560 hours)
- Schedule: ~24 hrs/week (option for 36); day shifts every other weekend or evening/overnight weekday coverage
- Compensation: $66.67/hr
Responsibilities
- Deliver telephonic and virtual care for acute and chronic conditions
- Support facility staff with real-time clinical guidance
- Manage falls, condition changes, and medication-related concerns
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure accurate, compliant EMR documentation
Qualifications
- NP with multi-state licensure (2+ states required)
- 3+ years of clinical experience (geriatric experience highly preferred)
- Comfortable with high call volume and independent decision-making
- Strong telehealth and clinical assessment skills
- Ideal background in skilled nursing, senior living, post-acute, or geriatric care
