Telehealth Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Role Overview

As a WellNow Provider, you will deliver quality healthcare to Virtual Urgent Care patients in a supported medical community. This is a full-time, seasonal telehealth position covering November 1 through January 31, with onboarding in October.

Compensation

• Hourly rate: $60/hour

Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Medical Knowledge: Assess patient needs, triage appropriately, perform history and physical exams, create evidence-based care plans, order medications and diagnostic studies, and consult with on-call physicians and radiologists.
• Continuous Learning: Complete CME requirements and attend peer review and education meetings.
• Communication & Professionalism: Maintain patient confidentiality, communicate effectively with clinical staff, arrive on time, and adhere to dress code and company policies.
• System-Based Practice: Maintain accurate patient records, complete charts within 3 days, and follow up on diagnostic tests.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of emergency medicine, urgent care, telemedicine, or family practice experience handling adult and pediatric patients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
• Excellent bedside manner and customer service orientation.
