Remote Telehealth Nurse Practitioner
Weight Watchers Med+ is seeking a remote Telehealth Nurse Practitioner for a 1099 independent contractor role. The position involves providing synchronous and asynchronous virtual care focused on weight health and GLP-1 medications.
Job Description
What We're Looking For
- Nurse Practitioner with a degree from an accredited university
- Currently board certified by ANCC or AANP (Family, Adult, or Adult-Gerontology)
- General practice experience, including obesity medicine
- At least 2-3 years of post-residency practice experience
- 1+ years of telemedicine experience with sync and async practice
- Menopause management experience preferred
- Skilled at online tools, technology, and virtual bedside manner
- Availability of 15-20 hours/week, with at least 8 hours/week for synchronous visits and 2-4 hours available daily Monday through Friday
- Must hold at least 2-3 state licenses
- Proficiency in Zoom, Google Workspace, and Slack
- Compatible operating system (Mac OS 26.0+ or Windows 11 with 16GB+ memory; no Chrome OS)
What You'll Do
- Build a patient panel with continuity of care
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered clinical care via telehealth
- Review patient intake and medical history through video and chat consultations
- Maintain clinician-patient relationships through regular evaluations and check-ins
- Educate patients on obesity science, treatment options, and lifestyle adjustments
