Job Description
Role Overview
As a Telehealth Provider, you will deliver virtual urgent care to patients while being supported by a medical community.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs in a telemedicine care setting and appropriately triage patients
- Perform thorough history and physical exams to create individualized, evidence-based care plans
- Order and prescribe appropriate medications and diagnostic studies
- Educate patients regarding disease processes and discharge plans
- Maintain patient confidentiality and complete charts timely
Qualifications
- 1+ years of emergency medicine, urgent care, telemedicine, or family practice experience handling adult and pediatric patients
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
- Must possess a New York state license at the time of employment and be willing to obtain multiple state licenses
