The Optum Serve Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner provides clinically competent delivery of quality virtual medical care services required during Optum Serve operations, ensuring safe patient care and adherence to policies and procedures.

Essential Functions

• Provide clinical care and conduct virtual medical assessments within the scope of practice.
• Analyze and interpret histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information.
• Manage new medical problems and follow up on ongoing conditions.
• Maintain complete and detailed records of patient care plans while complying with HIPAA and regulatory guidelines.
• Work in a remote, customer-facing environment with variable hours based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited university in a PA or NP program.
• Valid and unrestricted professional PA or NP license in the state of residence.
• Ability to obtain 10+ additional state licensures within 2 weeks of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a PA or NP in a clinical environment.
