Role Overview
UC Health is hiring a full-time Virtual Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Aurora, Colorado. The schedule is full-time (80 hours per pay period) on day shifts, with a salary range of $110,576 - $154,807 annually.
Responsibilities
- Obtain patient history and perform assessments via observation, interview, and examination.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies.
- Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions, including prescriptive authority and referrals.
- Provide patient and family counseling on preventative health, wellness, and treatment options.
- Perform preventative health assessments, screenings, and immunizations.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
- Certification by ANCC or AANP and DEA registration.
- 5 years of experience in the identified area of expertise preferred.
