Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Remote, 7PM - 7AM)

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in this fully remote position. In this pivotal role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care for multiple subacute rehab and skilled nursing facilities. This position is for the night shift 7PM - 7AM (3 nights x 12 hours).

Responsibilities

• Cover our on-call provider line, which currently covers multiple subacute rehab and skilled nursing facilities across multiple states.
• Review labs, radiology reports, medications, consults, and pharmacy recommendations.
• Prescribe medications including narcotics and controlled substances when needed.
• Prescribe and order a variety of IV medications and IV fluids.
• Order diagnostic testing when needed (labs, x-rays, fluids, UA, etc.).
• Send patients to ED or refer to specialists when needed.
• Complete other remote work as delegated by the Director of Remote Provider Services.

Requirements

• Valid Massachusetts state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current certification.
• Current and valid Massachusetts DEA license.
• Proven experience in subacute rehab and skilled nursing facilities.
• Strong familiarity with EMR/EHR systems.
