Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in this fully remote position. Provide high-quality, patient-centered care for multiple subacute rehab and skilled nursing facilities.
- Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Location: Fully Remote (Massachusetts license required)
Responsibilities
- Cover our on-call provider line for multiple subacute rehab and skilled nursing facilities.
- Review labs, radiology reports, medications, consults, and pharmacy recommendations.
- Prescribe medications including narcotics and controlled substances when needed.
- Prescribe and order a variety of IV medications and IV fluids.
- Order diagnostic testing including labs, x-rays, and UAs.
- Send patients to the ED or refer to specialists when necessary.
Requirements
- Valid Massachusetts state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Current and valid Massachusetts DEA license.
- Proven experience in subacute rehab and skilled nursing facilities.
- Strong familiarity with EMR/EHR systems.
- Minimum 1 year of SNF experience.
