Telemedicine Nurse Practitioner

The Telemedicine Nurse Practitioner will provide virtual patient assessments, manage treatment plans, and conduct follow-up visits using secure telehealth platforms in a remote, contract role.

Responsibilities

• Review patient histories and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications within the scope of practice.
• Document encounters in the electronic health record.
• Provide patient education on disease management, wellness, and preventive care.
• Collaborate and consult with supervising or collaborating clinicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license and national certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills in virtual or outpatient settings.
• Proficiency with telehealth technologies, EHRs, and secure messaging.
• Excellent communication and empathetic patient interaction.
• Ability to work independently and maintain professional judgment in a remote role.
