Role Overview
Oscar Medical Group is seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for our Virtual Health Assessment (VHA) program. Providers will also support Virtual Primary Care and Virtual Urgent Care when needed.
Schedule and Location
- Clinic Hours: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM Eastern Time
- Requirements: 1 Saturday shift required per quarter
- Location: Remote (open to candidates in AZ, AR, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, NV, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, TX, and VA)
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative care screenings and medication reconciliations.
- Diagnose medical conditions, provide health coaching, and issue referrals.
- Outreach chronically ill members and engage those with low probability of seeing their PCP.
- Cross-train into urgent care and virtual primary care service lines.
- Interact with members virtually for assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
Requirements
- PA, DNP, FNP, or ENP from an accredited program.
- Board Certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
- Compact RN (for NPs only).
- Experience with Clinical Documentation Improvement and/or managing HEDIS quality measures.
- State licensure specific to PA or NP tracks as outlined in the posting.
- Bilingual Spanish fluency (read, write, and speak).
- 3+ years of experience in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care.
