NPHire is seeking remote Nurse Practitioners for fully virtual, short-duration smoking-cessation counseling visits. New graduates are welcome and full training is provided.
Job Description
A virtual care clinic is hiring Nurse Practitioners to provide short, structured counseling sessions that help patients quit smoking. This is a fully remote telehealth role focused on prevention, behavior change, and empathetic patient support.
What You'll Do
- Conduct 10–15 minute virtual smoking-cessation sessions
- Follow a structured 8-session clinical protocol
- Provide behavioral coaching, motivation, and relapse-prevention support
- Use streamlined templates for efficient documentation
- Participate in light asynchronous communication (minimal messaging)
- Collaborate with the clinical team on patient progress and quality of care
Qualifications
- Active NP license in at least one U.S. state
- NPI number
- Strong communication and patient-support skills
- Telehealth experience or willingness to learn
- Comfort with brief, protocol-driven counseling
Compensation & Perks
- $25–$65 per hour
