Job Description
A modern virtual care program is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, AGPCNP, AGCNS, ANP) to provide short, structured telehealth sessions helping patients quit smoking. You’ll guide patients through an evidence-based 8-session protocol focused on motivation, coaching, and long-term habit change. New graduates with strong communication skills are welcome to apply.
All scheduling, administrative work, billing, and reminders are handled for you — your role is 100% patient care.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct 10–15 minute virtual cessation sessions
• Follow a structured, evidence-based 8-step protocol
• Provide motivational coaching & relapse-prevention support
• Use streamlined templates for efficient documentation
• Collaborate with the clinical team as needed
• Light asynchronous messaging (minimal)
Must-Haves:
• Active NP license in at least one U.S. state
• Valid NPI
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to follow structured clinical pathways
• Reliable documentation habits
Nice-to-Haves:
• Multistate licensure (compact states a plus)
• Experience in primary care, behavioral health, or addiction
• Ability to work evenings or weekends if preferred
