Call Center Telephonic Injury Triage Registered Nurse at Medcor: 100% Remote (US)

Medcor is looking to hire a full-time Registered Nurse for our remote 24/7 Occupational Health triage call center.

Job Details

• Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
• Salary: $28 per hour with additional shift differential pay for evenings, nights, and weekends
• Hours: 8-hour and 10-hour shifts between 12:00 pm and 2:00 am (e.g., 2:00 pm - 12:00 am or 6:00 pm - 2:00 am)
• Requirements: Every-other-weekend requirement and major U.S. holiday rotation

Training

• 6-week training program: 3 weeks of classroom instruction and 3 weeks of precepting.
• Schedule during training: Monday through Friday, 8 am - 4 pm CT (non-negotiable).

Responsibilities

• Manage a rapid flow of incoming telephone calls in a call center environment.
• Document each call efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor and track personal and call center productivity metrics.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Complete accurate symptom and concern assessments utilizing Medcor Triage Algorithms.
• Follow HIPAA Compliance Policies.

Requirements

• Valid RN license and current BLS (CPR) certification.
• Ability to handle a high volume of consecutive calls.
• Strong technological skills and a typing speed of at least 30 WPM.
• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Private space at home with 4 walls and a door for patient privacy.
• High-speed internet access (no satellite).
