Nurse Practitioner/Physician Associate Virtual Care- Remote

Role Overview

MaineHealth is recruiting an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Associate (PA) to provide virtual urgent care, same day care, and primary care management remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote clinical coverage for indirect work within provider In Basket folders.
• Handle overflow work and provide coverage for time off and leaves for various MaineHealth ambulatory practices.
• Conduct synchronous video visits on the Virtual Same Day Care Service as appropriate.
• Participate in continuous process improvement and provide feedback to leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and successful completion of an accredited physician associate program or BSN (MSN preferred) with an accredited nurse practitioner program.
• Current Physician Associate license in Maine and New Hampshire with NCCPA certification, or current Nursing License in Maine and New Hampshire.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional practice experience (primary care preferred).
