Description Luro Health is excited to announce an opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant currently licensed in the state of Rhode Island. This full-time remote position offers a unique opportunity to deliver high quality virtual care in obesity medicine while working from the comfort of your home. You will be mentored by our co-founder and CMO, Dr. Jamie Kane, while working alongside of a multidisciplinary team of physicians, dieticians, behavioral health specialists and health coaches. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to our clients. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals in the Health and Fitness industry, focusing on innovative solutions that enhance patient care and promote a healthier lifestyle. Your expertise will be pivotal in shaping the future of healthcare delivery at Luro Health. We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $125,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that supports your professional development and well-being. What You Will Do • Conduct real-time video visits and follow-ups for chronic care, remote monitoring and urgent needs. • Collaborate with care teams to design individualized treatment plans • Provide patient education and counseling to empower healthier choices • Document care accurately in our EHR systems • Prescribe medications (including controlled substances) in compliance with DEA regulations • Uphold clinical protocols and regulatory standards • Leverage telehealth platforms and AI-driven tools to deliver efficient, effective care What We Are Looking For • Licensure: Active, unrestricted NP or PA license in the state of Rhode Island (required) Not pending or willing to obtain • Education: Master's or Doctoral degree from and accredited NP program (required) • Certification: Board certified NP (ANCC/AANP) or NCCPA certified PA-C (preferred) • Experience: At least one year practicing independently as an NP or PA-C, Telehealth and Obesity medicine experience preferred • Other: Reliable internet and HIPPA-Compliant workspace Why Join Us • Flexibility: Full time availability preferred but part time considered • Impact: Help underserved Medicaid and Medicare patients achieve better health outcomes • Growth: Mentorship in obesity medicine plus opportunities for leadership advancement • Benefits: Competitive pay, pro-rated or full benefits package, continuing education stipend Compensation: This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $57.69-60.10 per hour (equivalent to approximately $120,000-125,000 annually for full time schedules depending on experience and qualifications.
