Role Overview
Heartbeat Health is seeking an experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for overnight, on-call shifts to provide specialized telehealth support for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Responsibilities
- Overnight Clinical Coverage: Answer incoming calls from patients seeking overnight support.
- Patient Assessment: Conduct virtual assessments including medical history reviews, symptom assessments, and visual examinations.
- Diagnosis & Treatment Planning: Formulate differential diagnoses and develop focused treatment plans to reduce unnecessary ED visits.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up actions.
- Care Collaboration: Coordinate with cardiologists and primary care providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a smooth handoff to permanent staff.
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Active NP license in Florida and Georgia
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an NP in outpatient cardiology or telehealth
- Availability for at least 2 night shifts per week (Sunday through Thursday, 6 PM to 12 AM ET)
