Remote Nurse Practitioner must be Licensed in American Samoa (AS) – Telephonic Military Assessments

We are seeking licensed Nurse Practitioners (NP/APNP) or Physician Assistants (PA) to provide telehealth assessments for U.S. Military service members stationed in American Samoa. This remote opportunity allows you to work flexibly while supporting deployment readiness and delivering high-quality care. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct telephonic and video health assessments, including PHA and PDHRA, for service members. • Assess medical conditions, determine deployment fitness, and refer to physicians or Military Treatment Facilities as appropriate. • Provide education to patients, explaining procedures, results, and follow-up care. • Accurately document all evaluations, treatments, medications, and test results in medical records. • Participate in provider audits and ensure compliance with HIPAA and SC PHA requirements. Qualifications: • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP/APNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in American Samoa. • Current malpractice insurance meeting or exceeding state or contract requirements. • Completion of HIPAA and SC PHA training (initial and ongoing, via JKO). • Excellent communication skills and strong commitment to patient care.
