Telehealth Advanced Nurse Practitioners

Role Description

General Medicine seeks experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners to deliver full-scope general medicine within a clinician-supportive healthcare system. Practice includes asynchronous and synchronous virtual care, clinical triage, lab and imaging coordination, rapid specialist e-consults, and referrals.

What the Work Looks Like

• Provide asynchronous text-based and synchronous video-based care for adult patients across the U.S.
• Practice broad general medicine across a wide range of acuity and clinical complexity.
• Perform clinical triage and synthesis for patients with unclear or evolving concerns.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging, and coordinate rapid specialist e-consults.
• Recommend and guide patients to appropriate in-person care.
• Help patients identify and coordinate next clinically relevant steps.
• Maintain clinical ownership and continuity throughout the decision-making process.
• Contribute to clinical workflow development, policies, and quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Advanced Practice Nurse with a background in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Minimum of 6,240 clinical practice hours (~3 years full-time experience).
• Active, unrestricted NP licensure covering at least 40% of the U.S. population, including CA, TX, FL, and NY.
• Eligibility to see Medicare and Medicaid patients.
• Strong comfort with clinical triage, diagnostic ambiguity, and broad clinical synthesis.
• Experience practicing independently within scope and collaborating closely with physicians and specialists.
