Virtual Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

About the Role

Fabric is re-architecting urgent care by removing administrative barriers that lead to clinician burnout. As a Virtual Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-acuity care at a national scale using a peer-reviewed workflow that pre-populates patient data and quality scoring. This role averages approximately 6 patient encounters per hour in a blended synchronous and asynchronous workflow.

What You'll Do

• Virtual Care Delivery: Conduct virtual urgent care visits, assessing patients with acute or episodic conditions.
• Clinical Decisioning: Review pre-populated summaries and apply clinical judgment to approve or modify plans.
• Workflow Mastery: Utilize proprietary software to evaluate patients, order/interpret tests, and determine disposition.
• Meticulous Documentation: Document all encounters thoroughly within the electronic platform.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Coordinate virtually with nursing staff, care coordinators, pharmacy, and clinical operations.
• Quality & Compliance: Maintain coverage, engage in quality metrics, and adhere to state licensing and telemedicine regulations.

Job Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner (NP) with active, unrestricted U.S. licensure.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience specializing in emergency medicine or virtual urgent care.
• Active licensure in at least 30 U.S. states.
• Proficiency with telemedicine platforms and remote patient interactions.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights and weekends.
