About the Position
Emory Healthcare is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to lead our Virtual Medicine Team. This position features a hybrid work model including telehealth visits and onsite administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provides oversight and leadership for greater than 10 APPs or at multiple locations.
- Reports to Chief APP Officer and partners to recruit, interview, and hire new APPs.
- Ensures standardized on-boarding, regular evaluations, and competency assessments.
- Manages scheduling, shift coverage, and timekeeping oversight.
- Provides formal and informal clinical instruction, coaching, and mentoring.
- Performs rounding on a regular basis at designated sites.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife.
- Completion of an accredited APP program.
- Master's degree or higher.
- Current state nursing or PA license.
