Job Description
- Position: Telemedicine Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care
- Pace: Fast-paced environment seeing 4+ patients per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telehealth assessments and develop differential diagnoses
- Prescribe medications in accordance with clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Provide patient education, safety instructions, and clear follow-up plans
- Document all encounters accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Collaborate with other clinicians to coordinate care
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical protocol development
- Maintain reliable availability for scheduled telemedicine shifts
Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in applicable state(s) (Active NY license required)
- Active, unrestricted national certification in Family or Adult-Gerontology
- Experience in urgent care, emergency, or primary care settings
- Proficiency in telemedicine, EHR systems, and secure communication platforms
- Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current BLS/ACLS certification or willingness to obtain
