Position Overview
Diverse Health is seeking a dual-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a 1099 contractor remote telehealth position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide virtual primary care and psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic health conditions in family medicine and mental health care settings.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans including medication management, psychotherapy, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Utilize telehealth platforms for video appointments, secure messaging, and e-prescriptions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in EHR systems.
- Offer culturally competent care addressing the unique needs of diverse patient populations.
Requirements
- Active dual certification as an FNP and PMHNP.
- Licensure to practice as a nurse practitioner with prescriptive authority in one or more states.
- DEA license for prescribing controlled substances.
- Malpractice insurance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for virtual care.
