Telehealth Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Family Medicine Physician)
Direct Shifts is seeking experienced Telehealth Providers to deliver virtual urgent care and primary care services. Clinicians will provide synchronous and asynchronous care with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.

Job Summary
We are seeking experienced, patient-centered Telehealth Providers to deliver high-quality urgent care and primary care services to patients across multiple states. This role is ideal for clinicians who value flexibility and are comfortable providing care in a primarily synchronous (video/phone) environment, with occasional asynchronous coverage as needed.
Coverage & Scheduling Requirements
- Weekdays: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Weekends: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Minimum commitment: 15 hours per week
- Preferred availability: Evenings and weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide virtual urgent care and primary care services via telehealth.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute and chronic conditions.
- Prescribe medications and order labs/imaging as clinically appropriate.
- Accurately document encounters in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in asynchronous care workflows as needed.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted NP or Physician license in multiple U.S. states.
- Board Certification in Family Practice.
- Experience in urgent care, primary care, family medicine, or telehealth.
