Job Overview
- Role: Virtual Urgent Care/Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)
- Employer: Devoted Health
- Location: Fully remote (must be located within the contiguous 50 states)
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, four 10-hour shifts (11am-9pm EST), including one weekend shift per month
Responsibilities
- Perform virtual Care OnDemand acute care visits.
- Evaluate and diagnose acute illnesses and complex medical conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing.
- Establish care plans, prescribe medications, and assess for quality of care and social needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams, including physicians, other APPs, pharmacists, and social workers.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as an APP in urgent care, emergency medicine, primary care, or internal medicine.
- Active RN and APRN licenses or active Physician Assistant license in good standing.
- Ability to obtain licensure in requested states within 90 days of hire.
- Active BLS certification.
