Men's and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner / Physician’s Assistant

Defy Medical is an integrative specialty clinic offering primary care, hormone therapies, weight-management, and wellness services through a national telemedicine platform.

General Responsibilities

• Review laboratory results and address critical values.
• Provide consultation and treatment for primary care, acute conditions, diabetes mellitus, erectile dysfunction, and weight-management.
• Assist staff with the review of symptoms, history, condition, and treatment.
• Refer patients to other physicians or appropriate resources when needed.
• Maintain a positive bedside manner via video, messaging, and phone communication.
• Enter and maintain appropriate records using our EMR system while ensuring strict patient confidentiality.

Specialist Responsibilities

• Assist with follow-up care of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) patients, including lab review, critical value monitoring, and medication adjustments.
• Provide general patient education about nutrition, lifestyle, and stress.
• Consult patients to answer questions about medication or care plans.
• Assist with HRT diagnosis, care plans, peptide therapies, and fertility.

Requirements

• Active medical license (multi-state licensing preferred).
• Good standing with the medical board.
• Adequate equipment for telemedicine.
• Commitment to working on set deadlines.
• Comfort communicating via phone and video calls.
