Role Overview
CVS Health is hiring a full-time MinuteClinic Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner for evening shifts (2:30p-11:00p) with an every-other-weekend requirement. Providers deliver telehealth patient care using a remote technology platform.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic, evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems for patients 18 months and older.
- Evaluate primary care, acute, chronic, and transitional care patients.
- Offer health counseling, patient education, and medication management (including pregnancy and STI prevention).
- Document all care accurately within an Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate with internal and external colleagues, including physicians, pharmacists, and support staff.
Working Environment
- Remote position requiring broadband connectivity, a quiet private setting, and a neutral background.
- Regular use of a computer, phone, and EHR systems.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted nursing and APN license in Texas, with willingness to obtain additional state licensures.
- Master's Degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- Minimum of 2 years of medically-relevant experience.
- Current National Board Certification.
