RN Telephonic Nurse - Accredo - Work from Home, Anywhere, USA (Compact Nursing License Required)
Cigna Healthcare is seeking a remote Registered Nurse (RN) for a telephonic role with Accredo to provide patient education and support. Candidates must reside in a compact nursing state and possess an active, unencumbered RN license.
Job Description
Take ownership of the patient experience via telephone by providing disease- and drug-specific education to patients and caregivers. Follow clinical protocols and nursing scopes of practice while assessing and documenting clinical data.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide telephonic education and coaching to empower patients and improve overall well-being.
- Collaborate with treating physicians to report new symptoms and health-related matters.
- Aid clinical departments with new hire training, mentoring, and peer-to-peer quality documentation checks.
Schedule and Location
- Full-time work from home; must reside in a compact nursing state.
- Work hours: Monday through Friday, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM EST.
- Initial 6 weeks of training may start between 8:00 AM and 11:30 AM EST.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Active, unencumbered RN compact license.
- Ability to apply for additional single-state licenses as needed.
- 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Home internet via cable broadband or fiber optic.
