Nurse Practitioner, Remote, Telehealth (Nights & Weekends)

Role Overview

The Nurse Practitioner, CareLine is responsible for diagnostic patient care primarily through virtual, remote consultation via video conference or telephone. Serves as the dispositional authority for after-hours and weekend clinical telehealth calls.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assesses acute and non-acute clinical problems through virtual video conference or telephone.
• Performs and documents physical evaluations and patient histories.
• Develops and implements patient management plans based on findings.
• Confers with patients' PCPs and other medical providers to report health data and ensure compliance.
• Collaborates with on-call PCPs to support expected clinical outcomes.
• Participates in quality improvement, risk and quality management, and clinical meetings.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and graduate of a school of nursing for Advanced Practice Nursing.
• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum of 3 years of acute/primary care clinical work experience required (Primary Care or Emergency services highly preferred).
• Board certification by AANP or ANCC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Multistate compact RN license and multi-state APRN licensure (including FL, VA, and at least 2 in GA, MI, MO, OH, PA, TN, TX, IL, KY, LA).
