Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive virtual patient assessments and medical history review.
• Diagnose acute illnesses and injuries, utilizing clinical judgment and evidence-based guidelines.
• Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice.
• Provide patient education on disease management, medication administration, and lifestyle modifications.
• Document all patient encounters accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records).
• Manage triage calls and prioritize patient needs effectively.
• Must be licensed to practice in California.

Experience & Qualifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification.
• Proven experience in urgent care or emergency medicine environments.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
• Familiarity with medical coding systems like CPT and ICD-10/ICD-9.
• Prior telehealth experience is preferred.
• Spanish is a plus.
