Accredo Health Group is seeking a remote Registered Nurse for a telephonic role providing disease and drug-specific education to patients and caregivers. Candidates must reside in a compact nursing state and possess relevant clinical experience.
Job Description
Role Overview
- Provide telephonic education and coaching to patients and caregivers regarding disease and specific medications.
- Follow clinical protocols and document clinical data within the nursing scope of practice.
- Collaborate with treating physicians regarding patient symptoms and health matters.
- Assist with new hire training, mentoring, and peer-to-peer quality documentation checks.
Requirements
- Active unencumbered RN license with a requirement to reside in a compact nursing state.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant RN experience.
- Knowledge and experience in areas such as Neurology, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, Asthma, Oncology, or Pediatrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and reliable high-speed internet.
Schedule and Shift
- Full-time work from home, Monday through Friday, 10:30 am to 7:00 pm CST.
- Training period of 6 weeks with varied start times.
