Nurse Practitioner (Remote)

Position Overview: • Role: Nurse Practitioner for Virtual Patient Care • Visit types: Primarily video visits with patients (synchronous) • Location: Fully Remote • Schedule: Available 10 hours a week, scheduling is flexible • Compensation: Approximately $60/hour • * Important Note:This is a 1099 contractor opportunity, provided that, this classification and rate of pay are subject to change based on the clinicians state of residence, applicable state employment and worker classification regulations, and the clinicians availability and involvement with SteadyMD, to ensure compliance with state-specific labor and wage requirements. Some Responsibilities Include: • Conduct initial intake evaluation video visits with new patients (ages 18+). • Holistically evaluate patients, review labs, and prescribe weight loss medications when appropriate, primarily GLP-1 agonists. • Work with a diverse patient population, emphasizing inclusivity and evidence-based care. • Regularly check and respond to patient inquiries via the patient portal and asynchronous chat. • Manage prescription refills and chronic condition management. Requirements • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in at least 4 of the following states: AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, NY, OH, PA, TX with residency in the licensed state • Board Certified (AGNP-BC or FNP-BC) by the ANCC or AANP • 2 years of in-person, independent practice experience as an NP • * 1-year experience in weight loss medicine, including prescribing GLP1 agonists preferred. • * Background in Internal or Family Medicine preferred • Comfortable with complex chronic condition management preference • Telemedicine or virtual care experience is preferred Benefits • Fully Remote work with flexible hours • Focus on patient care and leave the administrative work to us • Malpractice insurance provided, including tail coverage • Startup environment focused on real healthcare innovation and disrupting the status quo Our Hiring Process – A Journey Worth Taking: At SteadyMD, our hiring process is as unique as our approach to healthcare.
