Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

This is a 100% Mobile position that requires our LVN to drive throughout the South LA and Central LA areas with areas including but not limited to SAN GABRIEL, BELL, SOUTH GATE, LONG BEACH, WEST HOLLYWOOD, LINCOLN HEIGHTS, SAN PEDRO, MONTEBELLO etc. Compass Palliative Care is looking for a professional, driven, and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to see patients in their homes and provide the following care: • Monitor and report any changes in clients' condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals. • Document all care provided and maintain accurate medical records. • Follow established care plans and assist with implementing therapeutic interventions. • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients. Previous experience as an LVN in Hospice or in a similar role is preferred but not required. • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures. • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision. • Excellent communication skills • Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with special needs. • Strong organizational skills to keep track of clients’ medical documentation. • Must have a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and willingness to drive throughout the South Los Angeles. This is a per diem position. Compensation for this role will be a flat fee of $35 per patient seen. Job Type: Part-time Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: On the road
