Our model integrates women’s health, precision-informed primary care, and thoughtful diagnostic processes to deliver coordinated, whole-person care. We operate on a top-of-line EMR and technology platform that supports streamlined workflows, high-quality documentation, structured assessments, and data-informed clinical decision-making. Clinicians are highly trained on our standardized protocols and SOPs, supported by a clear clinical framework that promotes consistency, high-quality care, and ease of practice. We look for NPs who are tech-savvy, adaptable, and comfortable practicing in a digital-first environment. The Opportunity We are seeking a part-time PA-C with strong primary care competence who is licensed to practice independently in Virginia. This role begins at 7-10 hours per week, with the potential for a full-time W-2 position based on performance, clinical excellence, and patient outcomes. This is a high-impact role for a clinician who enjoys providing nuanced, integrated care to women with intersecting medical and hormonal needs. Clinical Responsibilities Advanced Primary Care ● Conduct comprehensive telehealth visits across preventive, acute, and chronic care domains. ● Diagnose and manage medical conditions commonly seen among women with ADHD and neurodivergence, including hormonal conditions, metabolic issues, migraines, sleep disturbances, GI symptoms, chronic fatigue, and related comorbidities. ● Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostics to guide individualized treatment plans. ● Develop evidence-based care plans that consider medical, hormonal, and behavioral interactions. Women’s Health Experience ● Evaluate and manage perimenopause, menopause, dysmenorrhea, PMDD, PCOS, menstrual irregularities, and other hormonal conditions across the reproductive lifespan. ● Evaluate and manage follow-up medical conditions including thyroid, cardio-metabolic, GI, sleep disorder, and general wellness in women with ADHD or other neurodivergent conditions. Ability to refer patients to a specialist in complex cases. ● Develop and manage personalized hormonal medication plans—including pharmacologic selection, titration, and safety monitoring—that account for coexisting psychiatric and medical conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, migraines, metabolic concerns, and chronic fatigue. ● Provide clinical guidance on hormonal transitions and collaborate with GYN, endocrinologist, or primary care providers as needed. Medication Management ● Prescribe and manage medications across primary care and women’s health domains. ● Monitor response, tolerability, interactions, and adherence; adjust care plans based on diagnostic data and patient outcomes. ● Experience and familiarity with psychiatric diagnosis, medical evaluation, and medication management, including SSRIs, SNRIs, stimulants (Class II drugs), non-stimulants, and related pharmacologic therapies. ● Ensure all prescribing and documentation align with NovaVia standards and regulatory requirements. Tech-Enabled Care Delivery ● Use NovaVia’s advanced EMR, clinical dashboards, structured workflows, and decision-support tools to deliver efficient, high-quality care. ● Maintain thorough, timely documentation that supports continuity of care and meets clinical quality standards. ● Engage in digital communication and follow-up within established guidelines for patient safety and clarity. ● Practice within NovaVia’s standardized clinical protocols and SOPs, which are designed to support decision-making, reduce variability, and ensure safe, high-quality care. Comprehensive training is provided. Collaboration & Care Coordination ● Collaborate with physicians and care team partners when clinically indicated. ● Support transitions of care, follow-up plans, referrals, and patient education. ● Escalate clinical concerns appropriately and in alignment with NovaVia protocols. Required Qualifications ● Active Virginia PA-C license. ● Eligibility for independent practice in Virginia. ○ Active VA (ideally also MD or DC) license ○ Active VA DEA License ● Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail ● Strong experience in primary care and/or women’s health with comfort managing chronic, multisystem conditions. ● Ability to integrate medical, hormonal, and behavioral considerations into clinical decision-making. ● High proficiency with tech-enabled clinical tools, EMRs, telehealth platforms, and digital workflows. ● Excellent clinical judgment, concise documentation, and reliable follow-through. ● Ability to see patients in person on a limited, case-by-case basis. ● No licensing restrictions or disciplinary history. Preferred Experience ● Ability to practice independently ● Clinical experience in women’s health (perimenopause, menopause, dysmenorrhea, PCOS, PMDD, menstrual or hormonal concerns). ● Familiarity with chronic comorbidities, common among women with ADHD or neurodivergence (e.g., anxiety, depression). ● Experience in interdisciplinary or integrative care environments. ● Working knowledge of diagnostic and E/M coding. ● Prior work in digitally supported, tech-enabled care models.
