Job Description
Are you a PMH-NP who is passionate about helping patients through tele-health and CBT, while collaborating remotely with their physicians?
Join Dr. Kunal Sood (@doctorsoood) in our growing tele-health team here at MindBodyCBT.
We partner with pain specialists nationwide to provide psychological clearance and ongoing CBT-based care for patients preparing for or recovering from spinal cord stimulator (SCS) and intrathecal pump procedures.
No experience in pain medicine required. If you have experience with CBT and are open to learning, we want to meet you.
What You’ll Do
• Conduct tele-health pre-procedure evaluations for pain interventions.
• Provide focused CBT sessions around chronic pain, anxiety, weight loss, and behavior change.
• Use standardized tools (PHQ-9, GAD-7, Pain Catastrophizing, etc.).
• Deliver concise readiness reports and collaborate with MDs to guide care.

Qualifications
• Active PMH-NP license in Indiana.
• Interest in chronic pain, CBT, or behavioral medicine (no prior med-management heavy background required).
• Strong communication and documentation skills in a tele-health environment.
