Job Description
We are looking for experienced Certified Nurse Practitioners to join our Washington team, to provide remote on call services for patients in post acute, skilled nursing facilities.
The job description includes taking calls remotely from 7pm-7am or 6 pm-6am rotating with our other providers. These duties can be performed remotely but you must be available to take the calls when you are scheduled to work. The ideal candidate will be licensed in WA and willing to obtain licensure in OR, UT, NV, ID, CA, & WA. Typical schedule may be varied and shall include weekends, holidays, and evenings.
You should have experience in one of the following specialties: acute care, family health or geriatrics. Patience, problem-solving, and good communication skills are important. Responsibilities
• Examine patients medical records
• Order diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, etc.) as needed
• Prescribe medications
• Maintain accurate records and schedules
• Oversee patients’ overall health
• Promote good health practices
• Other duties as assigned
Skills
• Proven experience as a non-physician provider in a clinic, hospital, skilled nursing, ER, or other setting
• Expertise in primary care, acute care, and chronic care practices
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong ethics
• Team spirit with a positive attitude
• Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
• Ability to work overnight, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
• Valid NP license in the state of Washington and willing to obtain licensure in OR, UT, NV, ID, CA, & WA
• Minimum two years experience in a hospital, skilled nursing or clinic setting
