Family Nurse Practitioner – Weekend Telehealth Coverage Pay Rate: $75/hour Employment Type: 6-Month Contract Work Schedule: Weekend Coverage (Every Weekend Preferred; Every Other Weekend Considered) Work Location: Fully Remote / Telehealth Job Overview We are seeking experienced Family Nurse Practitioners to support a growing virtual care weekend workforce. This role provides independent, patient-centered telehealth services to patients ages 18 months and older, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care through a secure remote platform. Weekend & Holiday Requirements • Weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday) • Every weekend strongly preferred; every other weekend considered • Required holiday coverage: • One major holiday • One minor holiday Available Shift Options: • 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM • 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM • 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM • Open to 10- or 12-hour shifts if preferred Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Clinical Excellence • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat primary care, acute, chronic, and transitional care conditions • Provide health education, counseling, and disposition planning • Deliver reproductive and sexual health counseling, including contraceptive management • Document all encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) • Coordinate care with internal and external healthcare partners Patient Experience & Service • Deliver exceptional virtual patient experiences • Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and PHI standards • Adapt communication style to meet diverse patient needs • Respond effectively to patient inquiries and concerns Clinical Operations & Autonomy • Work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team • Adapt to new care models and service offerings • Manage time, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues efficiently • Participate in professional development and continuing education Licensure Requirements Candidates must hold at least four (4) active licenses from the following states: • North Carolina (NC) • South Carolina (SC) • Georgia (GA) • Virginia (VA – must hold independent practice) • Pennsylvania (PA) • New York (NY) • New Jersey (NJ) Licenses must be active, unrestricted, and in good standing.
